These are superb, big, strong and bushy plants supplied in a 2 litre pot. They will be trimmed to 60cm for posting and most have fruit already set. This is a BIG PLANT, please don't confuse them with the small 9cm pots offered elsewhere.

A very popular variety with deep red berries for picking at the end of July. Performs well in semi shade and will even fruit under a tree or against a north facing wall. One of the best all purpose varieties and probably the best type for heavy clay soils.

These are superb plants and ready to go. They will be sent quickly to your door and are ready to be planted. Quick growing and perfect for a specimen tree and we can offer full planting/care guidance.

Gooseberry invicta green

Details

Gooseberries are the first soft fruits in many gardens, especially if the immature green berries are thinned in May for cooking. Like redcurrants, plants develop a permanent system of fruiting sideshoots, and may be trained as fans, espaliers, cordons and standards, as well as bushes. 'Invicta' is a vigorous, spreading bush which bears large, pale green berries that are suitable for dessert and culinary use. It gives high yields when grown as bush or cordon and is ready to be harvested from late May. The Royal Horticultural Society has given it their prestigious Award of Garden Merit.
